Our families try to provide us with the best in life but they often find that money is lacking and instead leave their homes and love ones and own country to work abroad.
Although, they get us whatever we demand and want, what we don’t see is the pain and anguish they feel in their workplace and sorrow of being away from their families.

There have been many reported cases of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) suffering from trauma after working abroad in the Middle East. One example is an OFW woman who just came back from working in Saudi Arabia with a video that has gone viral. It showed the woman going hysterical in the street as the residents try to restrain her. The incident took place at a Muslim compound in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.

So, while we they are away we should give value to everything they’ve given us and show that we appreciate and love them no matter what and material things cannot compare with their presence.
